First gigs in UK

First of all… I am so happy about my life right now! It’s wonderful to be living in UK at the moment. I spend a lot of time in Cambridge, where there is a great environment for musicians, a lot of places to get gigs and small nice pubs. The city has a magical atmosphere and you just feel that you can spend all your time there. People are really open-minded concerning new singer-songwriters and different ways of doing things. I have met a lot of great folks, who have been nothing than kind to me and really helped me with pushing me in the direction I wished for. Thank you so much!!! :) I have found a lovely and talented guitarist to play with, a studio where I can record my songs and the singing lessons are going fine, as well! I’ve been in the studio a couple of times to record some material and I am also working on new and different projects. It’s an exciting time! I have already played two gigs over here and more are yet to more. Both gigs have been at Six Bells Pub - a small and cosy pub that has an “open mic night” every other week. The people, who come there are usually regulars and have different talents (poetry, music, folk music or singer/songwriters). The pub is really open-minded for new folks to come and play. Andrew (guitarist) and I have been singing 4-5 songs at each concert and both gigs have been great! It was an amazing feeling to start singing live in UK.
